Founding Principal Engineer — Deterministic Governance & Regulatory Codification

Help build the foundations of deterministic AI governance.
We're seeking an experienced engineer to lead the initial development of our regulatory codification architecture.
You'll work directly with our founder to develop the mechanisms that translate complex legal, regulatory and organisational requirements into structured, machine-readable and executable governance policies.
This is a foundational engineering opportunity involving knowledge representation, formal logic, policy-as-code and deterministic software architecture.
You'll have considerable influence over the technical direction of TLAIOR and the development of Aeonic's core intellectual property.
We're particularly interested in candidates with expertise in formal methods, knowledge engineering, rule-based systems, compiler development or regulatory technology.
Experience with Open Policy Agent, Rego, Cedar, LegalRuleML or comparable technologies would be advantageous.

Help build the foundations of deterministic AI governance.
Aeonic Labs is looking for a commercially minded Business Operations Lead to help build the operational foundations of a fast-growing AI infrastructure company.
Working directly with the Founder & CEO, you will help translate strategy into execution across business operations, fundraising, financial planning, partnerships, customer development, hiring and company-wide priorities.
This is a broad, high-impact role for someone who is comfortable operating in an early-stage environment where processes are still being defined. You will establish the systems, reporting and operating cadence needed to improve execution, maintain visibility across critical priorities and enable the leadership team to focus on product, customers and growth.
We are looking for an independent, highly organised operator with strong commercial and financial judgement, experience working across multiple business functions and the ability to turn ambiguity into clear, measurable action.
Experience within startups, scale-ups, enterprise technology, consulting, cybersecurity or artificial intelligence would be advantageous.
